Author's and Reviewer's Responsibilities

Author’s responsibility

The author should not submit simultaneous manuscripts to several journals. Similarly, authors should not submit any manuscript which previously published or submitted to another journal for consideration.

The author should truthfully collect and interpret his/her research data in a systematics way. Editors, reviewers, and even readers are permitted to ask the author to supply the applied data in his/her research for ease of editorial assessment and public access.

Authors should present a precise and brief impartial discussion of the significance of research in addition to adequate detail and references to permit others to enhance the research experiments. The author should specify clearly all sources that have assisted the research and also state any clash of interest. 

The author should provide an acknowledgement to all contributors of the submitted research. Those who have participated considerably to the submitted research should be titled as co-authors. The author should confirm that all co-authors have acknowledged and agreed the final version of the submitted article. 

 

Reviewer’s responsibility:

Any submitted manuscripts for review should be treated confidentially. Private information or restricted ideas gained through peer review should be kept confidential and not reused for personal benefits.

The reviewer who acknowledged luck of experience and efficiency in reviewing the assigned manuscript or asserted that he/she is unable to complete reviewing process within allocated period of time should directly inform the editor.

The reviewer should also alert the editor and request exemption from reviewing manuscripts if there is a conflict of interest. Particularly, the reviewer should ask for excuse from reviewing any manuscript if he/she has a personal or academic relationship with the authored or co-authored of the assigned manuscript.

The reviewer should inform the editor of any correspondences between the assigned manuscript and another article that have either published or still under consideration by another journal. The reviewer should also inform the editor if the manuscript under review containing plagiarized information.
