Abstract

This paper studies the behavioural differences in the recruitment of domestic enterprises (DEs) versus multinational enterprises (MNEs) in the country of Saudi Arabia. This research examines the differences between domestic firms (DEs) and multinational enterprises (MNEs), and the ways in which they have operated in Saudi Arabia, including the linkage between Human Resources Management Recruitment (HRMR) and traits of firms. HRMR is a key factor recognised as playing important roles in the successes of organisations. The firms enter globalisation and need to remain in the market as they are required to utilise Human Resources within the market. Essentially, the way in which the firms’ aims are implemented within the firm depends on HRMR (Price, 2004), with Rotich (2015) stating that firms are required to carry out various activities amongst employees, such as recruitment.
